About NetBSD/ia64 NetBSD/ia64 is an unofficial effort to port NetBSD to the Itanium family of processors. It is work in progress at the moment, with no formal release currently available. Please note that code for this effort is not in the official NetBSD source tree. The code is collaborated on on a private CVS server, although snapshots are made available publicly. Please see the mailing list archives for more information. The ia64 port will support CPUs that implement the 64bit Intel Itanium architecture. Current work on this port is being done by a group of volunteers on HP's ski simulator. If you would like to contribute to the porting effort, please join our mailing list.
